Hi, good day! I share ko lang po sa inyo ang isang Mod, na natutunan ko by doing some research online. Pwede po ito sa mga dual band radios such as Baofeng, Yaesu, Icom, and so on. It can also be used sa single band radio by following the right length of the cable for either UHF or VHF. This will help extend the range of the radio, and it will noticeably improve both transmit and receive by making a quarter-wave monopole into a makeshift dipole antenna system.
But before anything else, sa mga hindi pa po member ng forum site na ito which is www.braveradio.forumotion.com, please register by clicking this link https://braveradio.forumotion.com/register. Kailangan ko po ng help niyo by sharing your knowledge about two way radios, so we can attract the new generation to try this hobby, and para narin po ma tulungan natin yung iba na gustong I educate yung mga sarili nila.
To install a counterpoise to your radio, all you need to do is to add a short wire to the antenna’s outer ground connection or to an equivalent case screw that’s electrically connected to the antenna’s ground side. Eto po yung magsisilbing rat tail, or buntot ng inyong antenna to complete the antenna sytem. You would construct a counterpoise antenna wire 11.5 inch for VHF, 6.5 for UHF and about 19.5 inches for an OK performing dual band VHF/UHF radio.
Here's a video that will show how it's installed, at tetestingin niya din po ito:
Kung may question pa po kayo, don't hesitate to reply. Wag po sana mang hit and run, and please leave a thumbs up or thanks will do.
